We’re putting in another offer on another short sale this evening. Now that we’ve made the second offer, we’re both wondering how many of these short sale offers we’re going to make before one finally bites. Heidi guesses six. I guess four.

Update on Housing Offer Numero Uno Apparently the husband has not signed our offer yet. The wife yes. The husband no. He’s refusing to sign and wishing for a Christmas miracle. Who knows. We feel bad for them. We really do. But given the chance of doing a short sale versus foreclosure, I’d take the short sale.

Good news - it looks like the owners are accepting our offer. However, because it is a short sale the offer still needs to be approved by their lender, which may take a few weeks (we hope).
