Mom and Iain are doing fine and are expected to return home by Wednesday afternoon. Praise God for another beautiful healthy baby boy!
A number of events in this batch of pictures: Aidan’s second birthday, Aidan’s first Disneyland trip, and two baby showers.
My Mom, Dad, Brother and his wife Jessica came down to celebrate Aidan’s birthday sometime mid-September. Among the activities was a trip to the beach, where Aidan had a blast romping in the waves with Grandma.
We were warned by a number of people to wait until Aidan was closer to three for his first Disney trip. We ignored those people. Actually, Aidan was great all day - even when we took him on ‘Snow White’s Scary Adventure’ and “Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride”, both of which are really scary, really loud, and end up in Hell. We learned our lesson quickly and took him on all the great toddler rides, like “It’s a small world”, “Casey Jr.”, “Jungle Boat”, and “Tom Sawyer’s Island”, the latter being his favorite. He told me himself.
Thank YOU John and Heather Kerr for throwing us a very hip couple’s shower with our friends and family. We really appreciated it and were very touched.
There are pictures from Heidi’s “Mom’s group” shower, which Heidi enjoyed very much.
Finally, there was the church shower, which Heidi wasn’t expecting - so she didn’t have the camera with her. Nevertheless, she enjoyed that shower very much as well.
So there you have it. Everything up-to-date as we approach Iain’s “birth-eve”. Next entry: welcome Iain!
