boy!!!

Unless something really turns us off to the name, we’ll call the young lad ‘Ian Patrick Blair’. Can’t get much more Irish than that. Well, almost. Ian is actually an Irish form of John which is Hebrew (God is gracious)… and Patrick is um… Latin, actually (nobleman). Blair is Irish and means ‘plain.’ As in ‘field’. As in ‘pasture.’ Ohhhh Ahhhhh. So our new son’s name is “God is gracious to the nobleman in the field.” Aidan’s name (Aidan Jerome Blair) is “The fire is holy in the field”. Heidi’s name (Heidi Marie Blair ) is “Noble and serene, yet in a sea of bitterness, in a field”. Lastly, my name (Chad Lamar Blair) is “Mighty warrior, famous throughout the land, is in a field.”

The little guy is doing fine and we’re expecting at the end of October/beginning of November. Stay tuned.
