The Second Tri

On Sunday June 6th I ran my second triathlon on Vancouver Island, the “Panorama Classic Triathlon.” This was definitely a step up from the previous one: 500 m swim, 30 km bike ride, and 8 km run. I did it in just over 2 hours. Unlike the previous triathlon which had numerous rank amateurs (very much like myself), this one was almost entirely composed of professional triathletes training for various ironman competitions. Yeah, so, I was past a lot… though I did hold my own during the swim. And it pretty much stopped there.
Still, it was another grand experience and I look forward to my next tri somewhere in sunny California….
