Tofino Time

Monday, September 29th, 2003

To celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary, Heidi and I journeyed to Tofino on the west side of Vancouver island. We stayed in a B&B on the water, did some kayaking to neighbouring Meares Island and visited its old growth forests, and finally, at day’s end, ate loads of seafood at “the Schooner.” ‘Twas a holiday truly.

Ken and Tricia, Married at Last!!!

Thursday, September 18th, 2003

Congratulations Ken and Tricia Waineo!!!

They dun tied the knot they did last weekend. ‘Twas, as they say, a lovely affair. Since I was, after all, a groomsman, many of the photos are decidedly Ken/Groomsmen-centric. However, towards the end of the group there are some nice pictures of the entire wedding party in the warm light of dusk.

There are, also, some seemingly puzzling pics of a lot of darkness. However, if you look closely you’ll see that these photos were taken at the beach while bioluminescent bacteria were phosphorescing amidst the waves. Alas, some are better than others. Use your imagination. This is probably the best shot of the luminescence…

Congratulations Again Ken and Tricia Waineo!!! (I’m sure you’re glad it’s over…)

Brotha-man Marc in Vancouver

Monday, September 8th, 2003

Marc proved himself to be “the man” and visited us here in the not-so-frozen north just a week ago. We did some canoeing, attempted to see Mars, even went to the aquarium. However, most of the pictures from this weekend are of a speckled seal we saw while canoeing. But here’s a great picture of Marc’s back!
Thanks for visiting brotha-man! Photos here
